U.S. Toy and Kansas City Royals Team Up for Toys of Summer
August 24th, 2012 – Grandview, MO - On Wednesday, August 1st, 2012, U.S. Toy Company and the Kansas City Royals Outfielder, Jeff Francoeur and fellow teammates hosted a Toys of Summer event at Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics. This program was designed by Jeff and his wife Catie as a way to give back to the community. U.S. Toy Company was honored to be a part of this event and donate CP Toys to the hospital and clinic to be used by their nearly 400,000 children they see throughout a year.
Scott Swienckowski, CP Toys Director of Merchandise for U.S. Toy Company, said, “it was an extremely gratifying to see all of the children’s eyes light up as they not only met a Royals player, but received a great gift from U.S. Toy.”
